On behalf of my client, an international insurance company, I am looking for full stack support with skills and abilities as stated below.
Project Description:
The Advanced Business Analytics team (ABA) drives with AI and data analytics the Single Digital Agenda of the client worldwide.
The mission is to transform insurance processes and to generate data-driven impact with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and other data technologies. To empower the client, there are three main supporting pillars:
a Data Science Platform, a Data lab and a Competence Centre.
The Data Science Platform (DSP) empowers the client in developing, deploying, and operating data driven products end to end. The goal is to reduce time from idea to delivery following the DevOps philosophy.
The DSP provides a scalable, fault-tolerant, self-service, integrated, security-approved environment at a competitive price. We strive for continuous improvement of our tool stack by evaluating, contributing to, and integrating state of the art technologies. The platform community fosters knowledge and best practice sharing.
Skills needed:
- very good knowledge of frontend development (Angular 2+, Elm)
- good knowledge of backend development (written components in Go, Scala, Python...)
- Software engineering (design patterns, version control, automated testing, concurrent programming etc.)
- Continuous integration, deployment, and delivery
- Version control (Gitlab) / Build infrastructure (Gitlab CI, Jenkins)
- DevOps mindset (build it, run it; taking responsibility)
- Agile methodologies
- Fluent proficiency in spoken and written English (German or other languages are a Nice-To Have)
- Due to compliance reasons it is only possible to work on this project if you are working for a company or if you are willing to get employed by the company for the project duration.
Assignment:
- Fulltime (100%)
- Duration: 6 months (minimum)
