Network Specialists (w/m) - 20773
Tasks:
Working in an interdisciplinary team for the migration of application landscapes to dynamic computing plattforms
Development of network and migration concepts
Coordination of network delivery
Network administration, system administration and management of a complex network environment based on Cisco and F5
Installation and comprehensive maintenance of system and application software
Development and set-up of a network design
Planning and choice of network components needed (e.g. in the context of projects)
Solicitation of quotations
Stock maintenance/documentation
Operation of the company's AS system and procurement of IP addresses
Planning and allocation of sub networks or individual public IP addresses and their documentation in the data bases
Set-up and administration of DNS entries
Routing and implementation of routing protocols
Set-up and extraction of customers vrf on the DC backbone
QOS and bandwidth engineering
Applications for MPLS extractions at TCO
Support to the local ICS units concerning the connection of the customer areas to the DC backbone components
Documentation and allocation of subnetwoks or individual IP addresses
Provision of traffic management
Skills needed:
Cisco and Unix know how
fluent English
Experience in the administration of huge network environments and in the set-up of routers, switches and firewalls in combination with Loadbalancers
CCIE or comparable certificate
Reliable knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Netscreen and F5 components
Specialised knowledge of Loadbalancers, Radius, Tacas and LDAP
Experience in Traffic Shaping solutions
Experience in configuration, maintenance, updates and security management for network and server components
good knowledge of Unix / Linux operating systems
EDP technology degree (university or comparable) or comparable degree in natural sciences
