AEM Software Expert
Adobe Experience Manager
Responsibilities
- Be part of the development team and ensure the planning, development and optimisation of software components implemented on or through AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) platform.
- Guide the development, testing and deployment process of components to meet agreed functionality and quality.
- Close collaboration with the product owner, the architects and other stakeholders to ensure modern application development methods (continuous integration and deployment, DevOps)
- Designing interfaces to other systems, APIs or data sources
- Code Back End logic for user stories as prioritized in the backlog: Plan, develop and optimize software with a lot of own responsibility based on a continuous-delivery-process
- Perform code reviews and code quality checks
- Understanding the competitive environment, the Business operates in and knowing what delivers advantage from a digital business perspective
- Actively identify areas for improvement and contribute to proof-of-concepts to evaluate new technologies, frameworks and architectures to drive innovative ideas into the AEM Platform
- Teach developers and ensure knowledge transfer in programming clean and qualitative high-end code
Qualifications
- University degree in engineering, computer sciences, information systems, economics or equivalent professional qualification
- Several years of experience as a Software Developer on an Adobe Experience Manager platform with a high affinity for quality and clean code
- Excellent knowledge of AEM technology stack, Java EE, IntelliJ and Maven, as well as agile methods like Kanban or Scrum
- Profound knowledge in Front End development technologies, like Angular.js or React.js
- Profound knowledge of digital core technologies (eg data management, data analytics, integration, process automation, mobile, social, API Management, DevOps, cloud)
- Excellent English language skills (spoken and written), fluent German language skills preferable
- Ability to collaborate actively across cultural and organizational boundaries
- High ambition to follow and evaluate new trends and acquire new skills (out-of-the-box thinking)
