Für unseren Kunden im Großraum Hannover suchen wir ab sofort einen Contracts Manager (m/w) zur Festanstellung.Main tasks:
- Provide the procurement team with legal support and advice for high valuesubcontracts within the area of complex Subsea Production Control Systems(contracts typically based on English Law)
- Contract analysis and interpretation of prime contracts and definition of flowdown requirements for major subcontracts
- Negotiation of terms and conditions for major subcontracts with key suppliers
- Establish, implement and negotiate standard terms and conditions with suppliers
- Early identification of contractual risks and development of mitigation plans;development and execution of claims
- Development of a consistent contract management strategy and associatedcontract management tools
- Reports to the Purchasing Manager
Required skill set:
- Law Degree or equivalent level of expertise achieved through extensiveexperience in the Oil & Gas industry
- Minimum of two years experience in a legal counseling role or equivalent
- Knowledge of Customer, Subcontractor, or Supplier Terms and Conditions, andthe ability to efficiently negotiate subcontract conditions; Good understanding ofEnglish Law is important; knowledge of German Law and/or Texas Law isAppreciated
- Very good English skills (spoken and written) are essential, German is a plus
- Strong communication skills
- PC literate (MS Office)
- Ability to work under pressure, flexibility and commitment
- Pro-active, creative and innovative team player
