Ihre Aufgaben:
- Define, optimize, standardize and promote the IT architecture on a global basis within the global ENGINE AD and server environment.
- Plan and organise the implementation of new systems architectures, provide consulting and support related to the directory and server automation.
- Ensure that overall ENGINE/iGlobe/vmware architecture satisfies defined performance, security and availability parameters.
- Identify (preferably proactively) any shortcomings in performance and propose solutions for their correction.
- Ensure adequacy of upgrades.
- Evaluate new technological developments and evolving business requirements and makes recommendations for improved service levels and efficiencies to the -IBM TL for future recommendation/discussion with Novartis.
- Advise partners regarding upcoming development plans, like roadmap for new components.
- Write related documentation and communicate.
- Promote the global ENGINE infrastructure.
- Promote and sponsor information flow and know-how transfer between the ENGINE global organization and the team in charge of daily operations.
- Guarantee compliance to Novartis global IT security, GXP standards and strategies.
- Provide in-depth technical and business knowledge to ensure efficient design, programming and implementation.
- Develop reports and presentations on infrastructure products and new technology for all levels of management and technical staff.
- Manage project teams of internal and external employees within an international matrix organization
- Manage interfaces to major software and hardware providers (e.g. Microsoft)
Ihre Qualifikation
- Higher education in Information Technology.
- Sound knowledge of server hardware.
- Superior knowledge of MS-Windows (all core infrastructure components such as AD, WINS, DNS, Exchange…)
- Software Distribution systems TPM and NetInstall
- Knowledge of System Management Tools (NetInstall, MOM, Tivoli).
- Knowledge of Networking Technology
- Knowledge of MS development tools (such as Scripting, C++, VB …)
- Knowledge of NetIQ DRA and it’s scripting
- Knowledge of Virtualization products (VMware ESX and workstation)
- Good team player
- English required, German desired
- Knowledge of the ENGINE architecture is a must
