Für meinen Endkunden in Hamburg bin ich zurzeit auf der Suche nach einem Tableau Experten (m/w) im Rahmen einer Tableau Implementierung:Start: Am besten ab 01.05. (oder später)
Umfang: Vollzeit
Laufzeit: 6 Monate+
Tasks:
- New enterprise Tableau solution, we are looking for external support for approximately 6 months.
- Based on the defined processes and our enterprise self-service model, the main task will be the creation of high-performance, robust and comfortable Tableau Data Sources to be published on our servers using the current Tableau version 10.5.
- This includes the detailed requirement clarification with the business unit as well as a very close alignment with the IT team developing the database layer.
- The resulting Data Sources need to be as efficient and flexible as possible and should always consider the user driven requirements as well as all optimizations applicable on database level.
- Since the user requirements might develop over the time, the Data Sources should consider best practices and be prepared for already experienced and foreseeable challenges.
- Building the bridge between Tableau technology, the business users and the IT team by enabling the business team to build high-performance dashboards on top of the Data Sources and the IT team to take over the Data Source development.
- Design summary- / aggregation-tables for Tableau on the Oracle database
- Create ETL processes and Oracle jobs to provide the summary-tables
- Implementation of row level security
Skills:
- Profound knowledge and experience in designing, building and deploying Tableau Data Sources and Tableau Dashboards in enterprise setups using Tableau Server.
- Good knowledge and experience in end-to-end performance analysis and tuning of Tableau solutions working with millions of rows (Workbook, Data Source, database).
- Deep knowledge and many years experience with:
o Conceptual and physical data modeling of OLTP and OLAP / Star Schema
o Data Warehouse concepts, architecture and methods
o Oracle PL/SQL development
o Oracle Virtual Private Database
o Oracle In Memory Option and 12.2. In Memory features
- Team player with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Communication with the business unit will be in English
