Digital Design and Verification Engineer (m/f)

For our client, a global R&D Chip Provider we are looking for multiple Digital Design and Verification Engineers (m/f) on a freelance basis for Munich (f/m)
Project Start: ASAP
Project duration: 6 months (2 year project)
Location: Munich

Main Tasks:
* Module Level Design and Verification
* Module integration and verification in the upper block level
* Digital Communication on a block level with a focus on DSP and algorithmic block design.
* Focus on cutting edge wireless communication topologies (4G, 5G) specifically downlink receiver development, data flow control and low power design.
* Translation of VHDL to System Verilog with a focus on satisfactory coding guidelines and adapting code to Spyglass regulations
* Weekly regression tests
* Trace and Debug Testing (HSD)
* Run and debug Legacy tests for old HDL code
Skills:
* Degree in Engineering (Masters preferred) - Computer Science/Electrical Eng./Telecommunications
* Knowledge in 4G, 5G, specifically downlink receiver transmission, data and flow control and low power design
* Expert with Verilog, VHDL and UVM
* Good knowledge of Spyglass, UVM and RTL code for verification
* Troubleshooting and signal integrity skills
* Debussy knowledge for debug and HSD for tracking
* At least 5 years working experience.
