TätigkeitenbeschreibungFor our client in Germany we are looking for an IT System Engineer (IT Administrator) who supports the project team on site in Morocco.
Location: initial 1-2 weeks training in Munich, Germany. Afterwards Morocco.
Travels / Travel expense: organized / paid by the client
Recommended Professional Background:
- Solid understanding of information technology
- At least 2 years expertise with IT-administration and working in virtual teams
- Ability to analyze failures, fix errors and implement workarounds where necessary
- Ideally German / Europe cultured with experiences in cooperation with Arabic countries
- Excellent communication skills (in English and French)
- Capability to work in a multi-culture virtual team
Knowledge Domains which are relevant:
We expect basic knowledge within the following domains and the ability get familiar in more details where necessary:
- Networking: The OSI OSI model, Ethernet, TCP/IP, Cisco networking
- Security: Basic Encryption knowledge, Antivirus software, Authentication technologies, including Kerberos, digital certificates
- Operating System and related areas: DNS, DHCP and NTP in Microsoft environments; Microsoft Windows Server 2012, Microsoft Windows 10 Workstation; Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft WSUS; Basic understanding of Red Hat based Linux
- Storage: iSCSI, Storage Pools, Raid
- Applications: Email, Nagios Monitoring
- Backup:Backup and recovery mechanism, retention policies, scripting of automated jobs
- Virtualization: Microsoft Hyper-V
- Databases: ORACLE Databases including Grid Infrastructure and RACSQL
Recommended Certifications or equivalent knowledge:
- MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer)
- Linux LPIC1 or equivalent
- Oracle Certified Professional
- Cisco CCNS
