Aufgabe:Writing general introductions and descriptions of core concepts surrounding various webservices
Copy editing draft documentation provided by development teams
Developing and documenting code and request/response samples in coordination with development teams
The technical writer, Webservice API Documentation, supports the product management and development teams by
delivering documentation of the various webservices APIs. Most of the documentation will be created as part
of a Maven based build process. Other communication channels include developer websites, wiki pages and presentations for partner events.
Anforderung:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills (English)
- Deep understanding of RESTful webservices
- Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional team
- Working knowledge of HTTP-based APIs
- Ability to write and run code samples a plus
- Maven documentation experience, esp. xdoc and/or APT-based publishing is considered a plus
- Experienced with Wiki, HTML or Blog-based publishing
