For our client, a global Telecommunications company focussing on Mobile R&D we are looking for multiple RF System Validation Engineers on a freelance basis (f/m)

Project Start: ASAP

Project duration: initially until 30.04.18 (6 month extension available)

Location: Munich

Languages: English Fluency is Mandatory.

Tasks:

  • Bring-up, verification and debugging of RF subsystems in modem applications
  • Automate the Post-Silicon Validation of the TX chain of the RF transceiver
  • Recommend Root Cause Analysis or Failure Mitigation actions.
  • Analyse excel data collected in multiple modes of cellular operation: 4G (LTE Legacy and LTE-Advanced), 3G (UMTS and CDMA2000) and GSM
  • RF System Engineering
  • Analyse 3GPP LTE Rel-14 specs and with MATLAB programming

Skills:

  • RF (3GPP) system overview
  • RF System integration/validation
  • Field experience (Experience with customer support)
  • MATLAB programming
  • Experienced in Cellular RF (2G/3G/4G) systems
  • Strong System Validation Background
  • Masters Degree in Engineering (or similar)

Languages:

Written and spoken English know-how is demanded, all documentation will be in English
