T�tigkeit:For our costumer in Frankfurt we are searching for a Linux Administrator (f/m) for the following tasks: Linux Development Environment Administration for a complex multi-year software development project for an electronic trading system. The Linux Administrator will work in the implementation team of the trading system and will help shape the development environment of the costumer systems for the upcoming years. Tasks include: Evaluation of development tools and techniques, benchmarking of products and technologies, tool installation and administration on SW development workstations, linux administration and performance tuning, SW packaging and creation of installation images. The Administrator should have the following skills: Deep (>5years) knowledge of Linux, with a focus in the areas Linux administration, software development environments incl. CM, packaging and installation image creation, virtualisation, scripting (Python, Shell etc.). Knowledge of tools covering the full development chain from modelling to testing and roll-out, good overview and knowledge of open source software, experience with software development in large projects, a good command of English is a must, German is nice-to-have.
