Java/J2EE Developer - Oracle, JDBC, MQ Series
6 Month contract for a hardcore Java Developer based in NRW.
Role:
- Get involved in Agile & Scrum teams
- Review requirements developed by Product Owners
- Review and creation of software design documents and functional specifications
- Implementation of coding solutions to meet software requirements
- Work in a strictly TDD
- Ensure that coding solutions use resources efficiently and are scalable
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A minimum of 8 years software development experience, 6 years of which are Java/J2EE specific
- A robust understanding of Java and an in-depth understanding of other Java technologies, including JDBC, JMS, and messaging (eg MQ Series, Oracle AQ, JMS, etc.)
- Hands on experience with Agile Methodologies and Test Driven Development
- Experience with test automation frameworks
- Thorough understanding of Object Oriented principles (Analysis and Design)
- Experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, XML-RPC, etc) and multi-threaded applications
- Experience with relational databases and data access (JDBC/DAO/SQL); Oracle strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with ORM technologies (iBatis, Hibernate)
- Familiarity with Front End technologies, Object-Oriented JavaScript, AJAX, XHTML, HTML, XML/DOM, Node.js
- Experience in developing and driving SOA strategies within large enterprises and deploying SOA
