Ruby on Rails developer (m/f)

Your tasks:
- Development on the back of user stories
- Bug fixing and refactorings
- Write (first) acceptance tests as a starting point to hand over to QA
- Code reviews via Github Enterprise; this includes partly reviewing pull requests from the other payments team.
- Input to refinements, engineering meetings and discussions to raise quality of the app
Your qualifications
- Advanced Ruby on Rails developer; main focus: Backend, Frontend (React+Redux) very welcome
- Knowledge about REST APIs, Message Queues (e.g. RabbitMQ)
- Able to grasp complex business logic
- Able to deal with high risk environment and sensible data (payment)
- Analytical and communication skills
- Fluent in English, fluency in German advantageous
- Frontend development (React) and RSpec, Capybara knowledge
- Architectural skills and design patterns, e.g. DCI and background processing (e.g. delayed_jobs)
- Jira and Confluence experience
