For our client we are searching for a Senior Oracle DBA/ (BO) ETL Expert (f/m).Tasks:
- perform development activities in the scope of data warehousing applications
- responsible for developing ETL extraction with Business Objects DataIntegrator, and for extending/modifying Oracle data schemas
- expected to provide support for migrating one of our systems from Sybase to Oracle
- requested to conduct other development tasks according to demand and relevant skills
Skills:
- Proven experience in dealing with users
- Oracle database development, and SQL
- database design, both OLTP and DW systems
- ETL preferably on a current version of Business Objects DataIntegrator (XIR2 or later)
- very good technical document drafting ability
- Very good command of English with proven drafting skills
- Knowledge of installation and configuration of BO DataIntegrator XI, preferably on Linux and Windows systems
- PL/SQL, Java, Perl and/or shell scripting
- Experience in migrating to Oracle from other platforms
- Experience from working with IT issues in a portfolio or asset management setting
!!! IMPORTANT!!! Our clients needs this position as AÜG = Arbeitnehmerüberlassung = German Law on Labour! That means that you have to state a monthly salary and get paid leave days etc. (like a temporary employment)!!!
