For our clients we are looking forSymbian and GTK+ experts in Helsinki, Oulu and Tampere in Finland
For especially one client who is planning to run several mobile Linux (Ubuntu/Debian), Maemo and Qt-related (also Qt on Symbian S60) projects this year. The needs are such, that the client is hiring for permanent employment a number of applicants, but is also planning to use freelancers/small companies in the projects, and we’re also discussing the possibility to outsource sub-projects to a team of developers working remotely. Due to the variety of possibilities to join the projects, we ask you to state your interest in a manner that it is clear which option(s) would be possible for yourself – permanent job, contract (temporarily employed or freelance), or working through your current employer.
The location in negotiable between Helsinki, Oulu and Tampere, but for permanent employment Oulu and Tampere are now preferred (the perfect applicants can sit in Helsinki if not possible to move), please state your interest which location would be suitable. The duration of the contract work would be a minimum of 6 months, but most likely 12 months+. In addition to Linux, Qt and/or Maemo skills, some of the following skills and platforms would be beneficial to have and understand; Symbian, C++ and GTK preferred, Python, Moblin, Android, OpenMoko, and on top of all, the new MeeGo platform understanding would be very interesting. Any testing experience is consider additional plus.
