Our offices are located in Helsinki, Oulu and London. Additionally we operate through the offices of VMP Group; the chain consists of approx. 60 service areas across Finland.
For our client we are looking for a
GPS Engineer
to work in a precision positioning R&D project. The job consists of designing and implementing navigation software.
Applicants for this post should have a university degree in engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent qualification.
Desired skills are:
- GPS knowledge
- strong data analysis skills
- algorithm development skills
- experience of C, C++, Matlab (Scilab) programming
- experience of debugging software and systems
Experience in the following areas is considered as an asset:
- carrier ambiguity resolution methods
- error modeling
- RAIM algorithms
In addition the applicant should have good interpersonal skills and a fluent knowledge of English. The position is located in Espoo. The job starts as a 6 months fixed term contract, after which it may turn into a permanent position if both parties interested.
