We are looking for a Technical Writer (m/f) EMEA Regulatory for our client in Frankfurt am MainTasks:
• Responsibility for the production of all regulatory documentation of the IT department in the post-Brexit organization structure in Germany
• Scale up an existing team of 20 people supporting the EMEA branch offices
• The Core Team is based in Frankfurt and looks after all entities in EMEA outside
• of the UK
• Responsibilities include working with both in-house and vendor applications, exchange and clearing systems and regulatory platforms
• Cooperation with our teams in different offices
• One of the important component of the work is regular collaboration with IT teams in the London and New York head offices
Responsibilities:
• Understand the regulatory context of business environment and the various regulatory requirements across EMEA
• Review and consolidate existing documentation in team's knowledge portal, identifying missing documentation and working with subject matter experts in the team to close gaps
• Create and amend Outsourcing Agreements in collaboration with or under guidance from the Information Security Officer
• Attend and Document quarterly service review meetings with the providers of any outsourced services
• Maintain a Data Processing Concept document for the German entities
• Create and maintain an IT strategy document for the German entities in collaboration with the head of the IT department
• Maintain the Business Continuity Plan documents
• Review & maintain application descriptions and classifications and perform data validation
• Prepare user training material
• Maintain the new starter training material for the team Skills & Experience
Knowledge:
• very important - fluent in English language, German nice-to-have
• 3+ years of working experience as a technical writer in English language, ideally in a regulated German or E~
• fluent in IT terms and concepts and should ideally have the ability to read and understand code in a range of distributed technologies such as Java, C#/.NET or PERL as well as be comfortable navigating in UNIX and Windows
• good communication and business analysis skills
• knowledge of the Financial industry, preferably in Securities Trading or Investment Banking and in German Banking regulations like Ma Risk and BAIT would be desirable
