For one of our clients we are looking for a Weblogic Application Server Administrator/ Support Analyst (m/f)ROLES:
- Configuration Management (of 25 environments)
- Middleware Administration (Weblogic and/or MQ and/or Oracle)
- Health Monitoring (Abgeltungsteuer systems)
- System support and problem resolution
SKILLS:
- 2 years' in-depth knowledge and experience of administering Weblogic Application Server clusters (ideally version 10) in a UNIX midrange environment.
SKILLS - NICE-TO-HAVE:
- Websphere MQ
- J2EE/JMS/EJB
- Oracle DBMS/SQL/PL-SQL
- Tivoli Workload Scheduler
- TCP/IP networking
- Shellscripting and/or Perl
- Sun Solaris
- IBM SAN Systems
- Exposure to financial services in general and banking operations / tax processing
Project support (CTB) and 2nd level production support (RTB)
1) Coordination with internal teams and external service providers and application vendors
2) Set-up and configuration of multiple domains and application servers
3) Routine operations e.g. application, user, and log management, monitoring and associated automation
4) Functional test support
5) Troubleshooting and/or problem analysis
6) Performance analysis and tuning
7) Defining and documenting operating procedures in accordance with established guidelines
8) Implementing heath checks
On-call and/or weekend working may be required
