Ihre Aufgaben:
- Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Champion user-centered design and conceive, set, and implement user interface guidelines and standards. Implementing usability processes and methodologies, you will evaluate designs, conduct usability tests, provide feedback to project teams and propose solutions.
- Collaborate closely with delivery teams to implement and ensure the development of a consistent and effective user experience.
- Design and conduct usability studies to gauge the usability of new and existing Informatics application features and translate the findings into design improvements.
- What you should be skilled in:
- With the goal of creating intuitively usable products, drive user interface designs from conceptualization through prototyping to implementation, developing high level, and/or detailed storyboards, mock-ups, and prototypes to effectively communicate designs.
- Prototyping of interaction concepts on the basis of Wireframes (Bspl. Axure etc.)
- Experience with current user-centered design methods including contextual inquiry, task analysis, cognitive walkthroughs, usability studies, and user workshops.
- Methodical analysis and design of user interfaces and creation of interaction concepts for technical products, software systems and interactive media.
- Planning, realisation and evaluation of Usability Evaluation projects, Usability tests, user questionings (e.g., questionnaire, interview, Contextual Inquiry, focus groups), Expert reviews.
- Excellent conceptual, problem-solving and communication skills
- Innate passion for improving the online world and a desire to continually increase customer satisfaction
- Communication in the team with interface to designers and engineers in the team as well as the direct communication with our customers.
- Not your job: Is the graphic creation of user is interfaces. Here you work together with gifted designers who appreciate you as a Usability expert and expect from you motivating and functional concepts as a base for their creation of the look and Feel.
Ihre Qualifikation
- A degree in human factors, human computer interaction, interaction design, information architecture, or a related field.
- Several years' responsibility as a Usability Engineer or user Experience expert for complicated software system and potentially technical products as well as interactive media.
- Proven ability to translate multi-layered and complex (business) requirements into user interface specifications.
- Excellent knowledge of the methods, approaches and technologies of the Usability engineering.
- Concrete and wide ranging experiences in the cooperation with software engineers is advantageous. A team player with good communication skills both towards our customers as well as internal IT staff, fluent in English
