Responsibilities• Define and drive the architecture for future Client Cloud offerings.
• Drive the alignment of the technical direction with the business opportunities
• Be a thought leader in cloud computing across multiple business and community channels and become a trusted advisor to decision makers.
• Lead the engineering development of Clients Cloud Management Stack and feature set in accordance with customer expectations.
• Engage with key industrial and academic partners to deliver best in class cloud technology solutions for public or private cloud.
Requirements:
• A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related degree, MS in Cloud related field is a distinct advantage.
• 15+ years' experience in Engineering with a minimum of 5 of those years in a Lead Engineering role.
• Deep understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers and emerging trends and impact on industry verticals.
• Experience in conceptualizing, recommending and implementing cloud technology solutions for large enterprise-level projects.
• Experience in cloud related technologies such as containerization, visualization, software defined networks or software defined storage etc.
• 5+ years experience in deploying, using, supporting and contributing to OpenStack Platform (IceHouse or later) is preferred.
• In depth knowledge of Linux/Unix systems and a proficiency in Python is preferred.
