YOUR MISSION
- Responsible for the onsite execution of runbooks to restore server systems (Windows, Linux)
- Install and configure the TSM server including the related operating systems in close collaboration with the project team (remote TSM expert pool, project manager)
- Ensure proper compliance with security measures during installation and configuration
- Provide 3rd level support by analyzing and resolving tickets or dispatching to architects
- Coach and facilitate knowledge transfer to administrators for unresolved tickets
YOUR EXPERIENCE & TALENTS
- Significant experience in the administration of Windows and Linux systems and related operating systems (VMware including ESXi installation, AD, RDP and connection of USB devices, storage systems like NAS)
- Good understanding of network administration, particularly TCP/IP networks, VLAN, routing, WAN and LAN connectivity, cabling and patch management
- Familiar with TSM and backup media, backup strategies (e.g. incremental and differential), full backup (backup and recovery)
- Proficiency in LTE modem connectivity setup and firewall configuration
- Know-how in telephony systems (PBX, Skype for Business, MS Teams, Audio Codec gateways, VoIP) would be a plus
- Solid balance of analytical and abstraction skills solution-oriented way of thinking
- Fluency in English and German
