Your tasks:
- Installation and administration of complex system environments based on Oracle Solaris as well as Oracle Linux /RHEL
- Configuration and support of storage systems Block / NAS / CAS
- Support of Storage Area Network
- Planning and implementation of upgrades and expansion of the existing system landscape
- System and process support in a disaster recovery IT landscape
- Execution of troubleshooting and performance analyses
- Support of colleagues with special technical questions as well as projects
- Further development and co-design of the IT infrastructure
- Creation and maintenance of documentation in your area of responsibility
Your profile:
- Very good knowledge of the Unix operating system ORACLE Solaris 10/11
- Very good knowledge of the Linux distribution Oracle Linux as well as Red Hat Enterprise Linux
- Knowledge in the support of Block / NAS / CAS storage systems, preferably from the Dell/EMC storage portfolio (VMAX, UNITY, ISILON, ECS)
- Knowledge in the administration of a Storage Area Network, ideally based on Brocade SAN directors/switches
- Experience in scripting (Shell, Ansible) and monitoring solutions would be an advantage
- Independence, reliability, diligence, team spirit, initiative and strong communication skills
- Very good German and good English skills
