Firewall Administrator vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.
Your tasks:
- Developing and maintaining support processes and tools for the global Firewall infrastructure
- Configuring the authorising rules for security devices access
- Supporting supplier contacts at the operational level with the main suppliers of the Firewalls
- Participating in Firewall operation and maintenance of the rule sets, as well as operating the intrusion prevention service
- Providing first and second level support of the Firewall, partner VPN and RAS VPN as well as the IPS infrastructure and authorization server
- Ensuring adequate know-how within the company organization and maintaining the documentation
Your experience/knowledge:
- Professional experience in the field of Firewall engineering and design
- Network knowledge in the area of routing, VLANs and multicast
- Excellent methodological competence in relation to the analysis and visualization of complex issues
- Previous work experience in an international environment
- Very good knowledge of both English and German, written and spoken
Your soft skills:
- Quick comprehension with a high willingness to learn
- Structured and goal-oriented approach
