SAP Basis Architect for Germany (Stuttgart) Location
Your responsibilities as SAP Basis Security Consultant
In your role as SAP Basis Security Consultant, you are expected to perform the key responsibilities like:
Skill Level - Expert:
• Understands the architecture of Business Process Automation implementations covering normal operation as well as during HA/DR events
• Sizing, Installation and configuration of BPA platforms
• Planning & Migration of jobs from SAP standard scheduling / other scheduling tools
• Performance tuning of BPA platform and optimization of batch schedule
• Monitoring of BPA platforms and jobs scheduled on the BPA platforms
• Resolution of technical incidents within the BPA platform
• Support business job owners in troubleshooting and improvements of scheduled jobs
With a team of 5+ members to lead, you are not only a thought leader in your field, but also the most important consultant and first point of contact for our customers. As a very important "point of contact" you provide the necessary support and information. In addition, you will lead your team in project processes as well as the development and delivery of deliverables.
In your role, it is essential to always consider both sides - the customer's perspective and that of the technical team. With excellent analytical skills and a knack for tackling problems head on, you will find the right solution for all stakeholders and effectively put it into action.
Skill Level – Mid-Level:
• Root cause analysis for critical or reoccurring incidents including definition and implementation of preventive measures
• Script adaptations for present jobs/job templates
• Implement automations/ self-service in the area of SAP job management

2. Technical skills (Required - Nice to have)
• Technical SAP Background
• Excellent skills in Excel, PowerPoint and the regular Project management Tools
• ITSM Processes
• ITIL certification
Qualifications required
• Experience in running operations with ITIL processes / ITIL certified.
• Excellent Analytical and troubleshooting skill.
• Excellent in Verbal, written communication.
• Creative thinking in implementing Service improvements (automation, incident reduction, etc.).
• Willingness and flexibility to learn new technologies, scale up quickly and adapt to different roles as the situation demands.
• Experienced in running operations following ITIL processes.
• Strong multi-tasking skills and abilities to handle changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer focus and management of client expectations
