Job Description:Main responsibilities:
? Linux operating environment and infrastructure services
? SAN and storage systems
? Backup subsystem
? On-site hardware support
? Maintenance of documentation and inventory
? Resilience, capacity and performance management
? Adherence to ITIL key principles and internal procedures: change management, incident management, approvals chains, etc.
? Accountability for high critical environment that must be available 24x7x365
Required experience and knowledge:
? A degree in technical field andor equivalent qualifications
? Excellent knowledge and minimum of 5 years’ experience with Enterprise-class IT systems
? Hands on experience of support high critical systems and applications
? Enterprise-class SAN operations:
- HDS VSP Gx00, VSP 5100
- Brocade SAN switches
- Provisioning skills including zoning, LUN creation and masking
? Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7 and 8 running in virtual (VMware VSphere 6) and physical SAN attached environment
? RedHat Satellite 6 (Foreman) and generic tools for processes automation (bulk execution, change tracking, unattended deployment, monitoring, etc.)
? Core technologies and relevant management tools: LAMP stack (Apache HTTPD, Nginx, PHP, MySQL), DNS, etc.
? Networking fundamentals: routing, switching, link aggregation
? Knowledge of backup software CommVault Simpana, Cisco IronPort appliances, RSA Authentication manager, Active Directory, inter-storage and intra-storage replication and snapshot technology (True Copy, ShadowImage, SRDF) will be a plus
? Focused on clients’ requirements
? Responsible and able to get personal commitments and work done
? Stress-resistance and able to work hard to meet the deadlines
? Able to provide regular in-time updates and reports to the management
? Ready for overtime/weekend activities
? Fluent English speaker to communicate with English speaking colleagues and support
