Location: Munich (2 days remote/week)
Tasks:
• Setup, maintain and support internal certificate management infrastructure (HSM)
• Perform key management activities and support requests to provide the user with required certificates (signature, encryption, digital certificate, etc.)
• Analyze all aspects of the existing platform and provide recommendations to enhance system reliability, availability, serviceability and scalability in accordance to GSMA standards
• Monitor and manage our environments by integrating telemetry and observability into the platform
• Continuous service improvement with focus on optimization, efficiency and high availability
• Automate operational tasks and infrastructure as code
• Evaluate cutting-edge technologies and integrate them into the existing systems
• Drive Innovation and efficiency gains
• Participate in our on-call rotations and be available for escalations
Skills:
• University degree in Computer Sciences, IT or vocational training related within a technical/engineering field (e.g. Fachinformatiker Systemintegration)
• Professional experience in cloud (Iaas/Paas) and/or on premise datacenter operations
• Experience with certificate handling and certificate lifecycle management
• Excellent Linux skills, preferred Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Red Hat Satellite
• Good understanding of complex network and platform setups (geo redundancy)
• Good understanding of compliance and information security requirements in service operations
• Profound knowledge in Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Nagios/Icinga, Commvault, Splunk (at least two)
• Good coding & scripting skills
• Good knowledge in VMware Products as (vCenter, vSphere, PowerCLI, etc.)
• Analytical thinking, problem-solving and ownership mentality combines with drive for self-learning and improvement
• Comfort with collaboration, open communication, and reaching across functional borders
• Proficient English both written and verbal, German nice-to-have
