IT System Engineer Client Design (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Designing new Windows client releases for
- Various application areas, e.g. office, production, trade fairs and events
- Developing configurations and security settings
- For Windows, browser and OS applications
- Creating client images with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)
- Remote & Onsit
- Implement configurations using scripts, local and global group policies
- Integrate client releases into MECM
- Perform test installations (integration tests, user acceptance tests)
- Evaluate client change request
- Developing customer specific solutions
- Analyze and resolve errors in the context of 3rd level client support
- Advise customers on new products, features, innovations and their implementation/solution options
- Creating and adapting PowerShell scripts in the client environment
- Supporting the release manager in rollout planning
- Work within a large, international project team
Main qualifications
- Desired degree: Education in the field of computer science, completed studies in computer science or similar
- Sound knowledge in the development of Windows client releases in complex IT landscapes
- Relevant experience in working with Windows 10 in an enterprise environment (administration, Windows Installer, features, services, GPO, automation)
- ITIL Foundation V3.0 and Microsoft MCTS certificates desirable
- First knowledge of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM/MECM), Remedy and Service Center 3 desirable
- Confident in using MDT (Microsoft DeploymentToolkit) and PowerShell
- Understanding of operational processes andorganizational structures·
- Structured and independent way of working as well as strong service orientation
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills required
