DevOps Engineer (IaC, Kubernetes, AWS)
Location: Berlin
Industry: eCommerce
Duration: Until middle of June
Currently I am working with an eCommerce company that specialises in luxurious / customised furniture. They are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer for a project until the middle of next year.
• Experience designing, building, testing, deploying, observing, and maintaining code written using object oriented or procedural languages (Python or Golang)
• Experience working with modern cloud architecture (virtualization, networking, database, message queueing, etc)
• Experience working with containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, etc)
• Extensive experience with an Infrastructure as Code technology such as Ansible, Cloud Formation or Terraform
• Can demonstrate knowledge and usage of Continuous Deployment tooling and best practices
• Basic working understanding of data process orchestration tools (Batch processing, Apache Airflow, etc)
• Experience in networking concepts (virtual networking, subnets, routing, load balancing, DNS, etc) and network security.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Nice to Haves
• Experience using and/or supporting datastores such as Postgres, Redis, etc.
• Experience using and/or supporting messaging technologies, such as Kafka, AMQP, RabbitMQ, etc.
• Working knowledge of Linux configuration and administration
