Experienced Power BI / Power BI platform architect to own end-to-end activities including Power BI platform technical topics and internal procedures.

- Testing and implementation of Premium Capacity Gen 2
- Incorporate disparate PBI tenants into a single global tenant
- Analyze / set-up connectivity between PBI platform and MS Synapse instances
- Manage impact on PBI gateway connectivity when connected systems move from on-prem data centers to cloud
- Client-internalproceduresinclude
- Chargeback model for cross-charging business units based on use of PBI platform resources (eg. Pro licenses, distribution of overall platform costs)
- Execute compliance checks, eg check that personal gateway connections are not in use, recertification of Workspaces, …
- Test and manage monthly internal release of new PBI Desktop versions
- Integration of PBI platform and solution meta-data into the global data catalog
- Idealcandidateswouldbe
- experienced in working within a large enterprise
- able to execute according to defined procedures, respecting the focus on security and compliance
- able to work autonomously and be ready to take ownership of the assigned activities; projects are planned & tracked using MS DevOps, and candidates would typically own Features and related Stories & Tasks
