Global Finance IT is looking for an external Application Support Specialist for the business serviceeProcure to strengthen the eProcure Service Management Team. The service consists of a cloud based
(SaaS) SAP Ariba Buying and Invoicing & SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing Suite. It is integrated to the
inhouse system landscape and interfaced to SAP ECC 6 environments.
Embedded in the eProcure Service Management Team, the Application Support Specialist will provide
technical and functional L2 support for SAP Ariba. In addition, the Application Support Specialist will have
the opportunity to get involved in support of other Global Finance IT applications (e.g. Mobile Expense).
Tasks:
? Process and resolve SAP Ariba Incidents in coordination with other support levels. Provide rootcause analysis (Incident Management)
? Process standard SAP Ariba Requests (Request Management)
? Implementation, testing and documentation of SAP Ariba configuration changes (Change Requests
Management)
? Support in Non-Regression-Testing campaigns
? Support in analysis of new business requirements and development of solution designs
? Review SAP Ariba Release Notes and support in evaluating impact on the existing solution
? Monitor SAP Ariba related Interfaces
? Liaison with internal stakeholders and SAP Ariba Support via Ariba Connect (acting as DSC)
Requirements: To be successful in the above role, the Application Support Specialist should possess / display the
following key skills/ attributes:
? Strong knowledge (4-5 years of experience) in administration and configuration of SAP Ariba
Buying and Invoicing + Guided Buying (core administration)
? Strong knowledge of SAP Ariba approval workflow configuration
? Very good understanding of SAP Ariba master data structure (suppliers, users, commodity codes
and others)
? Good understanding of system processes and their related business processes (Procure to Pay)
? Understanding of the SAP Ariba Integration Toolkit architecture and functionalities (ITK)
? Familiarity with SAP Ariba connect portal and working experience as Designated Support Contact
(DSC)
? Experience in SAP Ariba support projects dealing with support tools like Service Now in Incident
and Service Request context.
? Familiarity with SAP Ariba integration channels
? Strong analytical and solution-oriented attitude
? Experience in large, multinational organizations with a central SAP Ariba landscape
? Ability to work in multinational and decentralized teams
? Very good command of English and ability to communicate on international level
