For my client I´m looking for a Informatica Engineer/ Data Governance Expert (m/f/d), who can support him asap.Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement Data Governance best practices with tools, stewardship, and metadata
- Provide support and consultancy for the rollout of the Data Governance Service and the usage of the central Data Governance tooling (Informatica - Axon and EDC based)
- Support the evolution of the tooling and manage the interaction with the application provider (/Informatica)
- Take responsibility for the central Data Governance instance on Azure and operate / improve the service
- Look for opportunities to improve performance, reliability, and automation
- Resolve incidents and change requests
- Work with our Global Data Architecture and other functions, Operating Entities, Platform Engineers and other stakeholders to implement governance activities to include resolution of data issues and implementing new capabilities
- Support and interact with business users, data consumers and data engineers
- Raise awareness on Data Governance opportunities for all levels of audiences and stakeholders, write announcements, blog posts, and best practices
- Write technical documentation, help evolve the service guidelines under the framework of the global data governance framework
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of experience in Data Management projects
- Understanding of Data Management principles
- Extensive experience with Data Governance principles
- Extensive knowledge and experience with Informatica Axon and EDC
- Defining Data Governance assessments, remediation, and continuous improvement plans
- Competence in deploying, running, and operating EDC and Axon Architecture in the public cloud (preferably on Azure)
- Good understanding of an enterprise IT landscape and the related integration pattern
- General understanding of related technologies:
- Data Engineering Pattern (Ingestion, Transformation, Storage, Consumption etc.)
- Event-based systems (deep knowledge on the Kafka confluent stack)
- Databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, Neo4J, Stardog)
- Cloud Storage (Azure Datalake or AWS S3 with EMR)
- Distributed Systems (e.g. Spark)
- Infrastructure, Orchestration, Distributed Systems and IT Security Principles (Data Access Control)
- Experience with Linux and containerization
- Experience with complex process analysis and technical implementations of data solutions
- Knowledge of agile SDLC methodologies
- Experience with metadata tools; e.g., Informatica Axon/EDC/Collibra
