Resident Engineer (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Maintain communication and develop a good working relationship with the customer
- Provide technical on-site support to the customer with Power Electronics software and hardware
- First level investigation and recovery of defective parts, rework of delivered parts e.g. software update
- Commissioning / fault-finding / reproduction of defects in software and hardware, in vehicles, on test benches or at HiLs
- Calibrate power electronics functions on development vehicle, dynamometer or test-bed to support the application team
- Technical assistance to teams with customer specific topics
- Test trip participation: locally in Germany or abroad
- Coordinate results and customer feedback proactively with the development team
- Support software verification tasks according to the software delivery timing plan e.g. for vehicle tests for software release or road release
- Support development teams, having access to vehicles and benches not otherwise available to the development team
- Document and report development work
- Communication/presentation of issues / fixes to the customer
- Help identify new business opportunities at the customer and keep abreast of new technologies
Main qualifications
- Engineering degree and profound experience in Automotive Engineering
- Experience in eMobility High Voltage Products like High Voltage Inverters
- Experience in ECUs
- Experience in testing in vehicle, on test benches or at HiLs
- Profound experience as a Resident Engineer
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Well organized and structured
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in German and English
