AWS Cloud Engineer (EKS, Datadog, Lambda)
I am currently working with a mid-size (480 employees) company in the manufacturing industry that is looking for an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer.
Duration: 6 months
Location: Remote.

Start Date: ASAP
About the role:
• Working with platform teams to architect and automate solutions with cloud technologies.
• Build and deliver end-to-end infrastructure platform solutions in a cloud environment
• Improving infrastructure operations through better use of monitoring, cloud coding and scripting best practices (Datadog is a must)
• Automating infrastructure deployments, ie: Implementing cloud standards, build, deployment and monitoring standards for the IT and Engineering teams
About you:
• 3+ years of experience in AWS – compute (ie: EC2), cluster (ECS, EKS), serverless (ie: Lambda), database (ie: RDS), file storage (ie: S3), networking (ie: VPC, DNS, ELB), CDN (ie: Cloudfront) , scripting/automation
• 1+ year of experience in Kubernetes (preferably in EKS)
• Docker
• Linux
• Terraform (nice to have)
• Scripting Language: Python, Bash, Golang
• Kubernetes Certifications (Nice to have)
• AWS Certifications (Nice to have)
