On behalf of our client, we are looking for a freelance expert/contractor as

SOC Engineer (m/f/d)
Reference: 7613

Tasks:
To support our customer in Munich we are looking for a SOC Engineer (m/f/d) in full-time. The customer is looking for an applicant who is interested in a permanent position. Also, a freelancer who can imagine changing to a permanent position after a few months is conceivable.

Your tasks:
- Administration and monitoring of a SIEM environment
- Communicate with system owners in order to assure comprehensive logging of security relevant events
- Create reports on gathered security data
- Interact with 3rd party providers for keeping up to date with SIEM and other SOC related technologies

Requirements:
must-have:
- Extensive experience with SIEM technology
- Good knowledge of Windows, Linux, data bases (SQL, no-SQL), anti-malware and Intrusion Detection System
- Certification as Splunk Architect
- very good English language skills

nice-to-have:
- basic knowledge of German language
