Title: Systems Engineer (DevOps)Rate: £65,000 - £75,000 (Based on Experience)

A Fantastic new role has just opened at one of our leading UK based clients offering the successful candidate the opportunity to join a hard-working team working on exciting projects in the pharmaceutical sector.
The role will be working within the SG&A Enterprise Infrastructure (Corporate IT), bridging the gap between technical work and project management. Although this will not be a managerial role, you'll be responsible for ensuring project delivery.
You will be given a high degree of autonomy and responsibility with the freedom to work your way to get project over the line.
Responsibilities include:
- Azure engineering & development experience
- Deep understanding of CI/CD pipeline build, improvement and management
- Hands on experience with cloud infrastructure: Azure PaaS & IaaS
- Exposure to and maintenance of configuration management and orchestration tools at scale
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting service outages
- Exposure to system and application level telemetry for large distributed & micro services cloud architectures
- Diagnosing and resolving problems in high-throughput/complex web applications and network services
- Expert level troubleshooting skills across different levels of the stack
- Understanding in building cloud services within regulated environments
- Monitoring costs and implementing cost reduction strategies
Requirements:
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

- Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail.
- Shows initiative and self-confidence, is adaptable and can cope with changing and evolving priorities.

- Maintains an in-depth knowledge of specific specialism in the field and provides expert advice regarding their application.
Education:
- Degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science field, or equivalent.
