Associate Scientist wanted for our Basel based client in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- Master or Bachelor of Science or equivalent education and 3+ years' relevant experience in industry
- 2+ years' GMP lab experience and a sound understanding of cGMP
- Advanced technical knowledge in analytical molecular biology in addition to solid organization and communication skills
- Strong understanding of laboratory or technical tools and adequate knowledge of software and computer tools
- Languages: fluent German both written and spoken, German would be an asset
Your tasks:
- Designing, planning scientific experiments for the preparation and timely delivery of cell banks, processes and procedures within a multifunctional project team as well as managing technical lab activities
- Performing and documenting of molecular characterization experiments in a cGMP environment
- Developing and validating methods, providing raw data, interpreting results
- Addressing simple problems, recognizing and communicating complex problems, informing and supporting on deviations and unexpected results
- Maintaining stock of consumables and samples
