An Offshore Windfarm Operator is looking for multiple Offshore Commissioning Engineers/Technicians, focusing on Offshore WTGs turbines. The client is looking for these WTG Commissioning Engineers to start ASAP for a freelance contract, until September 2015.The Offshore Commissioning Engineers will commission LV and MV Systems in the TP, and complete switching operations MV.
Offshore Rotation: 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off
These Commissioning Engineers will on-board the vessel at the Port of Esbjerg (Denmark).
Responsibilities
Commissioning works at each TP, needed LoTo systems to operate, support the WTG (wind turbine) Supplier for their tasks at the TP.
Switching operations for first energisation of 36kV switchgears.
Report all activities and observations made through the DPR to the "Anlagenverantwortliche" on the hotel vessel.
Experience with "Omicron" protection measurement equipment.
Ensure that the HSSE requirements from all parties are fully met.
Record all such activities on the vessel or during the installation.
Assist in solving interface problems during commissioning and turbine installation.
Requirements
5 years of commissioning experience:
o Commissioning of all electrical systems in the TP.
o Knowledge of German electrical safety rules.
o Switching allows for 36kV Systems (MV)
3 years offshore experience
Good Understanding of offshore operations, including electrical TP systems, logistics, integrity and maintenance.
Good German (Schaltgespräche) and English written and oral communication skills.
Offshore Certificates (at least):
Offshore Medical
Working at height
First Aid
Sea Survival according to GWO standard
Qualifications:
University degree in Electrical engineering
Quality Manager or six sigma black belt
CAPM or PMP certificate or similar
TOEFL score > 80; ZD, DSH or TestDaF certificate
SCC Certificate or similar, references as Co-ordinator
Skills:
Quality control method and skills, APQP, FMEA, Fault tree
