Our client is currently setting up a new business division and aiming to provide the next generation of innovative communications solutions.

On behalf of our client, Manning Global is currently look for:

Position Title: Cloud Architect
Position Type: Permanent

Responsibilities:
- Architect the cloud based systems and applications getting the most of the automation, elasticity and efficiency offered by cloud service providers.
- Ensure information security and reliability of our cloud solutions.
- Provide the architectural guidance and recommendations required for the evolution of the cloud based systems and applications.
- Cooperate closely with development teams ensuring that new applications are “cloud-ready” from day one.
- Support selection of vendors and partners, e.g. for cloud hosting and cloud solutions.
- Provide guidance on strategic decisions incl. presentation of complex technical matters in accurate but easy-to-understand terms.
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge within our international architect community.

Qualifications/Professional experiences Required:
- Minimum of 2 years of longer dedicated experience in the area of cloud systems architecture. Or alternatively, 5 years or longer dedicated experience working with cloud technologies from a development perspective.
- Dev/Ops experience and deep technical skills in software architecture and cloud computing.
- Good knowledge of Azure, AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in Internet services, alternatively IT organizations.
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a systematic and goal oriented work style.
- The ideal candidate would also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.
- Self-motivated to keep up-to-date with technological developments and trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic programming knowledge of Java or Python.
- Fluent in English and ideally German language.
