DESCRIPTION
Lead Architect is responsible for the true up of the conceptual design and the technical solution (networking and voice services e.g. IntraSelect, mLAN, Perimeter Security, mVoIP and the corresponding vendors and technologies in general)
He guarantees realization and functionality of the developed solution while it is built within the transition and transformation project.
This function especially includes the analysis of customer demands and their engineering, the conversion of the requirements into a technical specification, the evaluation of production costs, the solution engineering and the SLA specifications. In transition and transformation phase he is responsible to realize the solution concept and supports engineering and delivery units.
Management of the conception, planning and implementation of the contractually agreed services results
General requirements:
• Takes full responsibility for the strategy and implementation methods used to deliver the network and voice solution.
• Drives Transition and Transformation project in implementation of the designed solution, incl. the coordination of all involved internal and external parties.
• Adapt and check solution design, timeline and delivery costs if necessary for any reason (e.g. Performance, capacity, cost and changes or rather additional requirements by the customer).
• Verify realized solution and check against solution design.
• Performs an overall governance role throughout transition and transformation regarding his designed solution.
Communication / reports:
• Regular communication with Transition and Transformation Management regarding solution implementation status.
Sales process:
• Responsible for development of solution concepts within an opportunity.
• Analyze customer requirements and develop technical specifications.
• Solution engineering.
• Mapping solution to the required SLA?s
• Match sales and delivery interests and ensures co-signature of delivery units.
Financials:
• Production cost within bid phase.
• Support Controller and Transition or Transformation Manager regarding delivery cost controlling and business case verification.
Expected results / results to be delivered
• Solution concept for FMO (including technical and operational aspects)
• Solution migration concept from CMO to CMO+ and FMO
• Functional leadership of the streams in the technical implementation of the CMO+ / FMO solution
REQUIREMENTS
VERY GOOD KNOWLEDGE (+++):
• Broad and deep knowledge about current voice (BVoIP, MVoIP, IN, CallManager, CallCenter / IVR, voice recording, UMS) and network (LAN, WAN, IP) technologies and products.
VERY GOOD KNOWLEDGE (+++):

• TC Access, Standards and Protocols/Network and Platform Technologies and Architectures/Next Generation (NGN) / IP-based Networks/ Network Security/ Routing & Switching/ Voice & Unified Communication/Voice & Unified Communication
