For our client in telecommunication we are looking for a (GERMAN speaking) project delivery manager for location Düsseldorf.
Start: as soon as possible
Duration: 3 months with extensions
Location: Düsseldorf (1 day remote possible)
Volume: 100 percent
Language: German or English
Main Responsibilities
- Assure that all deliveries assigned to the delivery manager (both business- and technical features) from involved in- and external parties...
- are delivered in time
- are delivered in quality
- fulfil the scope/requirements
- are handed over to subsequent processes (acceptance/deployment) timely and properly
- can be integrated in the client´s network
- Delivery of technical components from Initialization phase of Solution Delivery Process through to Implementation + Closeout
- Strong guidance and steering of the supplier, presumably in an agile mode/methodology, to achieve workable deliveries in regular sequence (2 weeks timeframe)
- Collaboration with Programme Manager + solution design lead on establishing clear expectations on definition of deliverables
- Manages the teams accountable for delivery (in a Matrix organization and across supplier(s)
- Identify and manage technical risks, issues and interdependencies specific to delivery of all technical components
- Direct, coach and mentor all sub project managers + supplier staff engaged in delivery for the programme. Work closely with all other project functions.
Skills:
- Strong project management skills (especially planning, execution, team leadership, reporting, communication, intercultural competency, project management basic activities (eg. Risk/Change/Team Management etc.)
- Knowledge of software design, development, test and delivery methodologies.
- Experience in waterfall and in particular agile development methodologies as they relate to delivering and implementing the required solutions
- Autonomous + pro-active working style
- Experience with business transformation, integration and migration projects
- Experience with deliveries in prepaid business, infrastructure and organization
- Experience with the Huawei IN Solution ( OCS") is of advantage
Main delivery Deliveries (as agreed within the scope) - in time - in the required sequence (Phase depending)
