for a Senior Program Manager (f/m) IT Security

Project environment

A global Swiss Bank is looking for a Senior Program Manager leading two programs consisting several projects in the area of IT Security: Data Protection (projects reg. protection and encryption measures) and CDC/Client Data Confidentiality (Digital rights, Data/Traffic Scanning, Identification).

Tasks

• Ensures an efficient program governance – roles and responsibilities, coordination, all planning, controlling and reporting tasks
• Manages relationship with all program stakeholders (CIO function, Business, BSM, Interface partners, etc.)
• Provides the program plan and updates it as needed (deadlines, milestones, delivery, requested and planned resources etc.)
• Ensures all necessary sign-offs according to the guidelines and performs all relevant reviews
• Ensures provision of cost and effort estimations
• Manages the program E2E according to the program plan and ensures all relevant project deliveries during all phases
• Elaborates the Business Case on mandate from the Account Manager
• Staffs the program by requesting resources e.g. PM, PMO, BA, DEV
• Program change management and managing risks, issues and dependencies
• Evaluating the program team in order to support Line Managers in their employee evaluation

Requirements

• A degree in business studies (University, professional school (FH)) and/or Banking apprenticeship, GTP Certification in Project Management (IPMA, PMP is requested)
• SDLC knowledge and Experience
• ITIL Knowledge
• Leadership experience within an similar role is an advantage
• 7-10 years experience within the financial services industry, ideally in a large organization
• Project & process management experience as business project manager responsible for overall project.
• Communication and negotiation skills and ability to work and operate in a highly complex, english speaking environment
• Transparent and structured approach with excellent analytical & conception skills
• Awareness regarding outsourcing and offshore partner
