The position will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day support of our end users globally with a specific focus on EMEA region. In addition to daily support tasks, this position will be required to assist with project related work-streams.
This position will have a heavy focus on both customer service and technical ability, as the person in this role serves as one of the primary points-of-contact in IT for our end user community at-large.
Representative Duties:
• Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates information technology systems operations.
• Provides day-to-day technical support to employees for network infrastructure and internal desktop systems software and hardware, with a focus on Windows 10 and macOS.
• Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
• Installs, configures, and troubleshoots desktop systems, workstations, servers and network issues in a heterogeneous environment.
• Communicates highly technical information to both technical and nontechnical personnel.
• Performs systems integration analysis to ensure projects or computer operating systems and applications are compatible with established technical standards and policies.
• Recommends hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades.
• Interacts with network systems administration and applications development to restore service and/or identify and correct core problems.
• Deploys personal computer systems and software using documented work procedures.
• Participates in infrastructure projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Minimum of 2 years of experience with comprehensive knowledge of information technology systems and related services
• Able to use professional concepts and apply company policies/procedures to work on problems/issues of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
• Able to exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
• Able to communicate with all levels of the organization
• High attention to detail
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously
