German/English Speaking Mac Support Analyst (2nd/3rd line)

Our client is urgently seeking a German and English speaking Mac OS X Kernel support analyst to work on a 12 month contract in Berlin based on the below specification:

  • The On-site Support technician has responsibility for the site support needs in Berlin, Germany
  • This person must provide 2nd & 3rd Level desktop support to customer internal employees, contractors, and vendors .
  • Manage the team incident queue and action all incidents within given SLA.
  • Manage the hardware repair process in region, liaising with our offsite and onsite hardware repair service providers
  • Support MAC OS X Servers, troubleshooting access and permission issues.
  • Support onsite managed print solution.
  • Support internal meeting room check-in system.
  • At least 2 years' experience working on MAC OS X Kernel
  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written in both German and English
  • Ability to learn new topics with minimum supervision and at a fast pace
  • Ability to work within a dynamic team
  • Diligent and responsible approach with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to direct and supervise work of others and operate in a team environment

Soft skills:

  • Should be self-motivated, must be able to grasp issues quickly and make educated, critical judgment in the absence of complete information.
  • Should be able to interact with onsite and offshore teams.
  • Must have good oral/written communication skills and pay high attention to detail
