Project Manager (m/f) with stong IT Infrastructure KnowledgeWith around 1000 employees and currently 500 freelance consultants, we support well-known companies in the implementation of their IT projects.
For one of our customers in Nuremberg we are looking for a Project Manager (m / f) with stong IT Infrastructure Knowledge on a freelance basis.
Aufgabenbeschreibung:
The cient is building new corporate headquarters.
On an 11 hectare site, the company are constructing a campus of three interconnected buildings with a total internal capacity of 38,000 square meters and parking for 800 employees, visitors and customers.
The client require an Infrastructure Project Manager to work within the main construction programme who will be responsible for the technology fit out within the campus and the relocation of computer hardware from legacy offices to the new campus.
- Plan and oversee the installation and commissioning of IT infrastructure at the new campus, including, but not limited to:
- LAN/WLAN: MDF/IDF construction, structured cabling, core and access layer switches, wireless access points
- AV: Meeting room audiovisual equipment, videoconferencing, digital signage
- End User Compute: Power and data presentation to the desktop and flexible workspaces, desktop hardware and accessories;
- Ancillary Services: Printers, security systems; meeting room booking systems.
- To plan and oversee the relocation of IT hardware from the legacy offices in Nuremberg to the new campus
- All aspects of project management, including Project planning and reporting andBudget management and Risk and Issue management.
- Very good German and English skills (both are needed)
- Several years of experience as a project manager
- Strong experience with IT infrastructure
- Previous experience planning and delivering IT infrastructure projects is essential
- Previous experience planning and delivering IT as a part of a building construction and/or refurbishment project is desirable
- The ability to work unsupervised on project tasks, communicating progress and managing risks and issues
- The ability to communicate and work collaboratively with project stakeholders and team members
- Experience building and maintaining strong working relationships with other technical teams, including internal infrastructure teams and external service providers, vendors and partners
