We have a new requirement, SD/MM contract position in Reutlingen, Germany.

Project Description:

The program consists of several streams, including template roll-out as well as innovation realization

- Template roll-out: As part of wave-2 we will roll-out the logistics template (SD/MM/WM) to the warehouse in Fürstenwalde

- Innovation realization: During wave-2 we will explore and realize 4 innovations: bonus, kick-back, drop shipment, new pricing model

The scope of Tasks:

The main responsibility is to manage directly the Explore phase and support the implementation phase.

Strong leadership needed to lead topic and guide design/realization in scope and Change requests.

German language is mandatory.

Timeline AND Effort:

- 60% availability needed (3 days per week).

- onsite in Reutlingen, Germany

- most of the time during the design phase

- during Realization more than 50% remote is possible

Sales AND Distribution Module - Background:

Today the locations of Schifferstadt and Chemnitz are live with the environment, using the processes implemented involving the Sales AND Distribution (SD) and Material Management (MM) modules of SAP ECC 6.0 EhP7, covering all logistic and commercial business requirements from an end to end perspective. Current system landscape with strong integration to other SAP and Legacy systems.

The main sub-areas involved are:

Sales AND Distribution (SD)

Kick-back

New pricing model (integrated through the Middleware ESB with an external price optimization tool)

Drop shipment

Sales master data (customer, material, batch (for DOT), pricing conditions, sales BOM for complete wheels)

Sales order management

Credit management

Customer returns

Delivery document

Billing document

Third party orders (to manage the current integration still on their external systems)

Intrastat (sales)

Integration with finance (FI module)

In addition, to be managed directly in the SAP Tyre1 environment, sales orders can also be received via B2B/B2C platforms and the web-shop (tyre1shop). In each case, the ESB Middleware is used to manage the interfaces with the Tyre1 SAP system. ESB prepares the data of the sales order to be transferred, identifying also the plant/location from where the products will be shipped. The standard SAP transactions have been modified, due to the setup/installation of sales cockpit for sales orders, part of the TRADEsprint custom solution provided by Cormeta AG, a qualified partner. Also, the material master has been enhanced, adding a custom field for an additional short material description; this custom field has been added to different standard SAP transactions (for example sales order management transactions/screens, outbound and inbound delivery transactions/screens, material management transactions/screens a.m.). Any needs to enhance the ESB functionalities and interfaces with the sales order management environment will be in charge of the customer.
