The Role:
Development in cybersecurity is perhaps the most important aspect of technological advancement in the 21st century, and our client is at the forefront of this essential industry. Based in the north of Munich, our client is looking for an experienced Embedded software developer to assist in a new project on a 9-month basis. They intend to not only maintain the high quality that has become associated to their name, but to build upon this already substantial reputation.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance or core platform modules of the appliances
- Gathering requirements, design, implementation and deployment
- Maintain/redesign the existing areas of the products
- Continuous contribution in the areas of performance, reliability, and maintainability of the product
Preferred Background:
- Professional experience in C in Linux environments
- Familiar with network protocols (TCP/IP)
- Knowledge of internal logic of network appliances
- Extensive solving and debugging skills
- Excellent knowledge of Linux system device drivers
- Linux Kernel networking stack is a plus
- The perfect candidate will have good knowledge of network security
- German fluency is a must, English is a plus
