SME SAP Data Services Consultant (m/f), German speaking, Frankfurt area, Germany
For our client in the Frankfurt area we are seeking for an experienced SME SAP Data Services Consultant (m/f).
Responsibilities:
-
Establish connectivity between source systems, SAP Data Services and target systems
-
Develop a ETL-approach incl. concept for our data migration
-
Develop a comprehensive set of ETL-rules
-
Transfer mapping-tables into mappings in SAP Data Services
-
Configure end-to-end ETL-procedures based on functional input from Business Analysts
-
Write applicable test cases for all ETL-steps
-
Create required documentation
-
Report on the status of ETL activities
Requirements:
-
Proven experience with large-scale software migration projects, from planning to execution
-
Expert knowledge of the SAP Data Services Designer
-
Proven usage of SAP Data Services for the purpose of data migrations
-
Ability to work with a wide range of source- (incl. Host-systems) and (cloud-based) targetsystems and interfaces for the data migration: VSAM, DB/2, Oracle, Webservices SOAP/REST, Hadoop, SAP Hana, Apache Kafka

Skills on expert level to setup complex transformation logic in SAP Data Services Designer

Ability to define applicable test scenarios for data transformations in SAP Data Services strongly desired
-
Knowledge of the Central Management Console and SAP Data Services Management Console configuration with regard to security, users and rights
-
Knowledge of the Atlassian tool suite for test and documentation; ie Jira and Confluence or comparable tools

Proven background in the relevant IT disciplines for the above

Strong background in payment card industry is a significant advantage
-
Knowledge and experience with PCI DSS would be an advantage
-
Good skills in the German (min. C1) and English (min. C1) language
