Derzeit sucht das Team der KEOS Software Service GmbH für einen Kunden:Windows & SCCM Engineer (w/m)
Overview of Role:
The team provides a broad range of services from international locations supporting more than 10,000 SCCM Clients. This role is to support a client who utilizes a complex infrastructure consisting of approximately 140 distribution points and many management packs which require ongoing development and maintenance.
Second and third-level support for Windows & SCCM. This includes the day-to-day operation and administration of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM), and various other systems involved in the monitoring, management, and reporting of the clients’ server environment.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Investigate, analyze and resolve technical issues and actively pursue mechanisms for preventing, or automating the response to faults
- Key tasks include; software distributions, OS deploys and unattended installs, system update (patch) management, inventory and compliance, SCUP, Agent and DP Management, custom application deployment, scripting and automation.
- Analyze system for faults and restore files with help of operating system
- Supervise efficient application of various window patches and security controls
- Contribute to the development of industry best practices and standards for deploying enterprise Server technologies
- Evaluate emerging technologies to ensure technical solutions are compatible with the Company's business needs and strategic objectives
- Provide technical expertise, guidance and strategic recommendations to other IT groups
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and problem resolution, to include but not limited to, issues with site-to-site communication, package distribution, SCCM advanced client and operating system deployment
Key Skills:
- Displays good verbal and written language skills in both German and English
- Experience working with international multilingual teams
- Expert knowledge of Operating System Deployment in SCCM (boot image, drivers, OS image and task sequences)
- Good knowledge of software packaging and software updates
- Expert knowledge of troubleshooting SCCM Servers, DPs and Clients (installation, software updates and software packaging issues)
- Experience with scripting, preferably PowerShell
- Good understanding of Windows Server operating system and VMware ESXi
- Extensive experience in the implementation, administration, troubleshooting and configuration of SCCM Enterprise environment.
Qualifications:
- Preferably Windows, SCCM, or VMware Certifications
Work Experience:
- Minimum 8 years’ tenure as a System Administrator with extensive experience supporting and troubleshooting Wintel & SCCM.
