Job purpose:
We are currently looking for 10 full-time fluent German Mobile Testers to work on-site, to support the R&D team of an AI project in the areas of Automated Speech Recognition (ASR) and Text To Speech (TTS) in Leipzig, Germany. Our client is a leading global ICT solutions provider firm. The contract will be initially for 4-5 months starting ASAP until October 2018. It is likely that the contract will be renewed annually afterwards.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Voice Assistant Feature Testing - QA & Performance testing on the client's bespoke intelligence assistant
- o Opportunity to input to the Machine Learning team in the project
- Perform quality assurance "end user" testing on live networks
- Conduct application test engineer, such as Embedded application testing, contents testing and UI function testing on the mobile device
- Provide informed feedback on interface usability and phone design concept
- Work closely with the Software Development team to meet test plans, discuss and provide information about defects and other issues that arise as a part of testing
- Interpret technical reports
- Manage or work to a test schedule
- Contribute to regular progress and test reports
- Generate natural utterances to operate each feature of the phone
Required skills:
- Previous experience in mobile testing or software application testing (Essential)
- Experience of Automated Speech Recognition (ASR) and Machine leaning testing or development (Preferable but not essential - please indicate as part of application)
- Fluent German speaker with neutral accent
- Fluent in written and spoken English (standard pronunciation)
- The requirements of the job will be your native language testing, however you will collaborate periodically with, or need to understand information being shared by, an international team
- Engineering background in electronics and telecommunications field will be an advantage (Preferable but not mandatory)
- A competent level of presentation, communication and planning skills (only required for the test lead and backup positions, 8 positions do not require this skill)
- Approachable, flexible, team orientated and self-motivated
- Good communication skills with the ability to liaise with a variety of stakeholders (only required for the test lead and backup positions, 8 positions do not require this skill)
- Good PC skills (especially MS Office)
- Good understanding of documentation requirements
