A large global client of ours is on the lookout for an experienced DevOps engineer with Ansible skills for an exciting programme based in Germany.
They are looking for an individual who is a confidant self-starter with a very strong technical background and strong interest in the very latest developments in the DevOps and tooling areas. The right person must have demonstrable experience in automation and should be confident working in a distributed highly agile environment. The role will include developing, testing and supporting their tool sets as well as coaching and collaborating with different engineering teams to support and create highly available solutions.
Must Have Skills:
Configuration Management tool experience - Ansible experience is a prerequisite
Must have Scripting experience preferably Python
Must have experience with Jenkins or similar CI tools
Must have good experience with using a modern Source Control system eg Git.
Strong Linux and command line skills
Nice to Have:
Docker
Orchestration tooling experience eg Kubernetes
Database experience particularly Oracle
NoSQL experience particularly Cassandra
Vagrant
Modern Java ecosystem
WebLogic experience
Good Networking knowledge
Good experience of agile collaboration tools eg Jira Confluence
Modern JavaScript eg Node.js
Python based web development
